Artist Statement:
This piece portrays the reality of Trump’s presidency. He chose to ignore the suffering in front of him yet heightened the tensions that already existed in this country. His lack of action and support for timely issues such as police brutality and the pandemic was damaging. I am hopeful about what President Elect Biden can bring and the divide he can mend.
